Whose Line Is It Anyway

Postby Iceman on Thu Jan 01, 2009 5:42 pm

IMO, the best improv show ever. The American version is my favorite, I have seen the British version but I like the American one better.

Who's everyones favorite person?

Mine is Ryan....

C'mon, how can you not say Colin?

My favorite sketch is the one with them in front of a green screen! I laug a lot with that one.

Love Colin too, just my sense of humor is more like Ryan's. Half of Ryan's humor comes from his back and forth with Colin. They work brilliantly together.

Ryan Stiles all the way

Does anyone know if there was any preparation whatsoever involved? Because Ryan was so good on occasion that it's hard to believe he was making that stuff up on the spot :D

I know that they know what games they are going to do but not the topic. (So they would know that they are doing Party Quirks but not know what the topic is)

The only way to explain it is that Ryan is just epic ;)

Remember his blue shoes? Hahaha that was a pretty good running joke throughout the episodes.

I used to listen to it on Radio 4, was one of the best shows to make it from there to TV, never understood why it left the BBC thou :S I've only recently caught some of the US versions of the show, but it seems essentially the same - even down to keeping the radio version inspired reading out of the end of show credits

Ryan is probably the best character on the show, but Tony Slattery and Paul Merton ware quite big on the UK version for a while as well. John Sessions was probably my favourite player thou, he wasn't so good at the songs but he can play a million characters and is probably the cleverest man alive (which also makes him one of my favourite players on Q.I. as well)
