JEREMY MAKES A DANGEROUS MISTAKE — Elena (Nina Dobrev) decides to take matters into her own hands and offers a tempting incentive to Rose (guest star Lauren Cohan) for her help. When things take an unexpected turn, however, Rose calls on Damon (Ian Somerhalder) to deal with the plan Elena has set in motion. Jeremy’s (Steven R. McQueen) reckless attempt to help Bonnie (Katerina Graham) retrieve the moonstone lands him in a life-threatening position and forces Stefan (Paul Wesley) to put himself in danger. Bonnie and Luka (guest star Bryton James) form a closer connection. Tyler (Michael Trevino) shows Caroline (Candice Accola) the Lockwood cellar, where she makes a discovery that leaves them both terrified. Sara Canning, Zach Roerig and Matt Davis also star. Ralph Hemecker directed the episode written by Caroline Dries (#210).

I missed the first few minutes which aren't up online yet, but Elena, just argh! What is she doing? The more she tries to take care of things the more of a mess she makes and apparently Jeremy's inherited the gene. I don't blame Rose for booking. And I wish Damon would find a new woman to love because she's going to end up getting him killed at the rate she's going. Stefan and Katherine trapped together can't lead anywhere good either. Unless you're a Ka-St fan. They have been really good at revealing things this season so I hope the story behind the originals is coming sooner rather than later.

Not the best episode IMO.

glad Stefan is in the tomb, will give Damon and elena some more screen time..

The part where Jeremy went into the tomb, how tense was that, I had to fast forward, my heart was pounding so much...silly Jeremy, not his best idea lol..

Finally liking bonnie, she has done a complete U turn on me...

I liked the reason Elijah didn't kill Damon, I was wondering why Damon was so special to not of been killed, now we know, and it was a good reason.. I think I'm gonna end up liking him...

Rose is grating on me ATM not liking her at all, talk about cowardly pffft

I hope Stefan and kathrine are in the tomb for a while, I'm liking the thought of some great chats between the pair... I'm sure now, Damon or someone will throw a few rabbits in the tomb for the pair lol... Every now and again..

I laughed out loud when goth girl said that Slater's password was "Kristen Stewart" and how obvious that was. I love these shout outs and friendly rivalry to the Twilight Series.

The doppelganger must be protected. Damon and Stefan are useful to Elijah as long as they protect Elena until Klaus can get to her. The way Elena's been acting I'm almost rooting for Klaus at this point, .

I like Bonnie better now than I did at the beginning of the season. But stupid girl not kissing Jeremy.

Really liked the episode!

Though Elena is beginning to annoy me.... not exactly sure why though, I just find her storyline a bit .... boring. Not the whole orginals-thing, but more how Elena is dealing with it, it's not that compelling to me.

What I absolutely loved/hated this episode was the tension! Elena&Damon (of course that has been going on for a while now) but talk about tension between Bonnie&Jeremy, it was awesome to watch and in the end frustrating because again nothing happened.

Also, Caroline and Tyler are beginning to grow on me, I really like the friendship-bond they're developing.

And, again, kudos for another unexpected revelation. Maybe my oberservation-skills weren't in gear that well when I watched the ep, but when Elijah said Elena had to remain safe, I really had a 'What the Hell' moment.' I just figured he wanted to snag her asap and lift the curse. But I guess there is more to the story

It hurts me a little to say this, but Elena was the only one I didn't love in this episode... and it looks like I'm not alone on this thought. I understand she is trying to save the lives of her loved one( Did anyone notice she looked right at Damon when she said this???? ) but does she have to be so annoying???? Overall I really liked this epsiode and every situation has me excited for next week...

I kinda agree with this.
I am still pretty torn on the whole Elena/Stefan and Elena/Damon thing. I have also not given it that much thought.
I mean, Stefan has been nothing but sweet to her but why does he seem so.... boring?

While Elena and Damon totally have my interest, but it would be kinda hard to sell, even now Damon has soften a bit.

Guess I am already preoccupied with rooting for Jenna&Alaric, Bonnie&Jeremy and Matt&Caroline

Oh. and of course with the plot

Me2. I keep waiting for this Alaric story we're supposed to be getting. And Jenna is woefully underused. I want to see Bonnie and Jeremy hook-up, and oddly, while I never liked Caroline before she was a vampire and Matt's barely there I want them to get together. I'm not vibing for Tyler.
