Isn't the Cylons that looked like the old cylons from the original tv show supposed to play some sort of roll between now and the series finale? I could have sworn that I read it somewhere. Something about them being connected to the final 5 somehow?

They made an appearance in Razor, but I've never heard anything about them in the last season.

I am not 100% sure if 'the centrions' that were just escavated on Earth's beach (Sometimes a Great Notion) are the same as the one's from razor...The group of 7 cylons say that 'these centrions are new' , but they look simular to Razors (and homage to original BSG)...I would hope and speculate that they are the same as Razor's to create that parallel of Razor (Athena tells about the 'first' cylon cival war) to what is happening, or happened on Earth...."It happened before, it will happen agian".
