Did this just get in there by accident? The show is all about using real technology that is available today to piece together puzzles and patterns. Just look at the show's logo! I would be surprised if this was an accident. However, the QR Code links to a real estate ad. I guess they filmed inside that condominium.

This almost seems like unintentional product placement... but it was too perfect. The first shot showed the bottom 2/3rds of the code and the second shot right after it showed the top 1/3rd.

It's frustrating. If any show would use cleverly hidden QR Codes to reveal secrets and get the fans involved, I would think it would be this one. Especially since JJ Abrams is involved. I mean, have you seen Fringe? They hide The Observer in every episode, and each episode has a secret code word. I really want this to mean something more. I love the show so far, and want it to be successful.

I guess we should keep an eye out for these in the future. Maybe there is a pattern and we haven't found it yet.
