Really? Nobody comments on CSI anymore? This is still one of the coolest shows around - and a full season with Fishburne on hand should make a big difference. They've taken two episodes to set the characters up (awesome) and now they're rolling on with it.

The opening sequence was very cool - I esp. enjoy how this show can take so many different perspectives and techniques when telling their stories. Giving us the story of the criminal to start and then showing how he gets to that murderous point is a great narrative change.

Bumping into Wayne Knight for the first time in a few years was pretty neat, too.

More mention of Langston's dad being an army guy comes up, too. He was a "G.I. Joe" guy. Interesting - this continues to be set up for a payoff down the road. Then the genetic disposition to becoming violent (like a rapist or arsonist) along with Fishburne's ass-kicking Matrix skills should translate into awesomeness in no time! YEah!

anyhow, the story was cool - the ending was touching - the music was great. It's too bad there isn't more discussion on the matter. I suppose there could be more if we ever get some more story arcs out of the main characters, yeah?

I didnt know what to think og Langston last season(I thought he got a little too much screen time), but I like his character development.

About the story arcs, I think that is what makes CSI pretty cool. They dont dump loads of character problems all at once and turn it into a soap(like CSI:Miami). Its just bits and pieces. It took 5 season for us to know why Sara had issues with some cases, I like that.

Im hoping they wont cast a new character, keep it the way it is. Riley was a very big mistake.
Let Hodges ruin his shoes in the field a little more. I always enjoy his scenes when he is in the field(actually, I enjoy all his scenes, he is my favourite CSI character).

I liked this episode, I liked the way they showed us the story and it was a bit sad. In this case you almost wanted the bad guy to win.

Absolutely. I still love Tim Blake Nelson from O' Brother, Where Art Thou? The whole episode I was thinking, "He's been turned into a horny toad." The rest of the episode I was trying to figure out where I recognized Belinda Martin (a.k.a. Tracy Middendorf) from (hint -http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/lostpedia/images/thumb/3/32/BonnieA.jpg/250px-BonnieA.jpg).

Cool episode. CSI continues to be an excellent program after all of these years.
