The story was good but there was something wrong with the pacing of this episode, it just didnt feel right.

Considering that Flash Forward and Heroes basically get half their traffic from posters who dislike the show for its weak characters and poor writing (which is their opinions, and not my statement) I still can't believe that CSI isn't getting more attention. This episode was very good - and the actors/characters are dynamite - even if Sara Cidle appears in more episodes since she left the show than before she married Grissom.

Tackling racism is a tough topic, and this show pulled it off giving it the gravity that it deserves. Man, how many shows approach a topic like this with the respect that it deserves. It wasn't simply a plot device, it was an essay on race in the criminal system.

I started watching this show on Spike (where, basically, they show CSI 24 / 7) but, I have to say, this show has carried the novelty that made it a hit into a totally new era with dynamite writing, excellent story-telling, fantastic directing, remarkable set-design, believable characters and acting that deserve more attention that it receives. I'm not going to say that they deserve awards or anything - but ... this is a great show.

Jim Brass's sunglasses were pretty Hollywood, don't cha think? He looked like he should be recording "womanizer" if you ask me

I think Hodges is being set up for a spin-off series! (not really, but he could definitely use more screen time on another show - right?)

BUT - I know a weak ending when I see / hear / witness one. "So where's the bad guy in all this? You tell me!" doesn't have the same impact as a Grissom one-liner. Even Horatio comes up with something thrilling to say before Bruckheimer's name pops up.

Here's hoping next week we get some more Dr. Hyde for the story arc!

It looks like we are the only ones discussing CSI.
I need more Hodges and where is Wendy, she finally made it in the opening credits but you hardly see her.
I had no problem with the ending.
CSI has won awards is the past but that was when the show wasnt on that long.

Is there a promo somewhere for next weeks episode?

I also wonder when we will see the next victim of the mad surgeon.
