As always I'll be at school but would love to read some comments so I can keep going (considering the anticipation!!!) I know you're really tired after the episode ends (I'm talking about you lucky girls who watch it tonight!) but just make a small comment on the merder scenes (that's the only thing I care about :PP )

yes, and don't forget...give it a rating with 5/5 being the best and 0/5 being the worst :PP

Here is my quick review
the good:
Bailey had a new hair do :hmm:

Meredith really stood by her man, loved my girl tonight.

Now for the fight, Derek is standing on bridge of the hosp. grieving because he lost Jen,(very sad). Mark walks up to Derek, not knowing Derek just lost Jen, and blurts out "I am seeing Lexie, we are not only seeing each other we...then BAM Derek hits Mark :scared: BAM BAM and they continue to fight, Owen, I think breaks it up, I want to see it again...Chief also runs out of his office with Bailey (He may have stopped the fight) Yes, there was blood, but I think Derek got the worst of it.

Had nothing to do with Addison, as I see it, Aussiello lied. It had everything to do with Jen dieing.

and hey George even had a little over a minute tonight

No one blamed Meredith for anything.

Alex was kinda funny tonight, with his my guy won that...stuff. He was referring to Addison, talking to Mer.

Izzie, had some good acting tonight too. (that little deva)

Owen and Cristina, okay, I think they "get" each other, but their relationship is a little odd, as in strange. But I like it.

The bad: Fay Donaway :sneaky:

all in all 3/5 Reason I cried, laughed, and hurt for Derek (and Meredith for seeing Derek in that shape).

Good Morning for those of you waking up and downloading :D And Good Afternoon to those on that side of the world  ;)

I just got home. I watched at a friend's house tonight because I was dog sitting for her. (tough work if you can get it :PP )

I'd give it a 3/5. It was just ok I thought. No MerDer lovey scenes but at least they were on screen together. I thought it shifted from ALL Addison to where the whole crossover should have been and that's to some Addison. More about Derek tonight and I like that. I don't like seeing my Der so heartbroken though. PD always makes me cry. sniff.

Sorry to you Mark lovers but I HATE MARK TONIGHT. Hurting my little McDreamy. I don't care if he didn't start it...I don't want to see my McDreamy beat up on. I didn't like the fight scene. Made me too tense. I really don't like violence though and thought sr could have just had Derek punch Mark once and go off on him verbally. That's just me.

I thought Bailey's hair was cute. Just loved CW as usual. She really does deserve an award for always being so awsome.

I thought the Faye Dunaway story totally could have been left out and we would not have noticed or cared. It really seemed like a filler story. I wondered if maybe it was filler and some D.Denny scenes got yanked and that was put in to fill time.

KH was good tonight, as usual. I read somewhere (maybe Ausiello) that we would learn her diagnoses March 12. I will be out of town that week. :O So, I probably won't get to see it until I get back on the 15th.

I loved my Mer tonight. Staying with Derek through it all. His poor face at the end...I just wanted to kiss it better for him....selfless fan that I am.

All through the show Alex keeps referring to Derek as "your guy" to Mer and to Addison as "my guy" like he and Mer were on teams. Best line of the night was after the fight, Addison starts to go to Derek and Alex says to her "that's her guy". Then Mer goes to Derek. THAT'S RIGHT ADDISON - HE'S HER GUY!!

I liked it. I love Owen, though, and he was great, especially at the end. For Owen and Cristina fans, it was a good ep. I liked Bailey's new hairstyle. Very flattering. The fight was stupid and out of nowhere. It was dumb of Mark to tell Derek just after Jen died. Maybe he didn't know Jen had died, but that's kind of hard to believe. I doubt any friend would do that. I had thought he was coming to offer support to Derek and then that! The Chief feeling all betrayed by Bailey leaving and writing a crappy recommendation? Grow up, I say. Luckily, she set him straight.

Hi all :D Thanks for your review.

So I got to download it. Some good stuffs and some bad ones. I just thought the beginning was a little strange. I did not understand very well: it likes they continued last week GA, and for those who watched PrP you had to go back in time (maybe it did not understand what I was watching).
I like that Mer stood by her man, but now we need either more talking between these 2 or more porney moments (but something has to happen).
Alex was great tonight (ITA with you Sunny about the best line).
Bailey, Izzie, Mark, Owen and Christina you said it all girls.
But you came back. Will to Alicia Season 1

Meredith wasn't a fling. She wasn't revenge. I fell in love with her. That doesn't go away because I decided to stay with you. Derek to Addison Season 2.

OooooooooooHhhhhhhhhhhh dear. O.o

Not a good episode. I really do think that we are in for a rocky ride now with Meredith and Derek's relationship. But, Derek has to be on board for next epi with the girl in the band who is having some seizures. I think he is working with Alex on this one. I wonder if he will still have bruises. :hmm:

I am wondering how sr and her crackpots with crayons are going to address Derek's crisis of faith in his ability - will they just ignore it aka Meredith near death experience or are they going to address it. I thought the gulping down of several glasses of scotch at the end may be prophesying. I am hoping sr reads the boards and therefore will do the opposite of what we predict just because she is so contrary because I would hate to see Meredith faced with an alcoholic boyfriend as well as her father experience. I think Derek telling Jen she would be the first to know with the proposal will take Derek even further from a proposal. It will be too haunting for him now. Makes me think more and more it will be Mere who proposes. And it is going to be a time away - 5.19 at the very earliest. And I am not positive of a positive response.

In defense of Mark - he went to Derek early in the episode to talk to him and to tell him about Lexie but Derek ridiculed him and cut him off and Mark shut up in frustration. Mark then had no idea about what went down in the OR with Jen and tried to confront Derek at the worst time - bad timing!. That was a given and, yes, Derek struck out in sheer frustration and anger at himself - he did not really hear what Mark said - Mark could have said he disliked his scrub cap and Derek would have struck out. But that said Mark deserved to win the fight. It was not his fault. I am just so relieved it was not about a joust over Addison. That would have been the living end. :x
Very pleased that Alex reminded Addison that Derek was now Meredith's guy and that Addison actually listened and finally WENT HOME!!! (Just proves that Ausiello and Kristin and her elk speculate only, just like us.)

What happened to the ex-fiancee with Owen. Obviously sr did not fall in luv with the character. And Owen's "I want to be here in 40 years time" is very Mills and Boon! First we have the regency romance and now Mills and Boon with Cristina!!!! sr is on crack!

And Bailey's hair started off very curly and then the wave started to sag more and more as the episode continued. Poor CW has a touch of laryngitis, too. I do prefer it straight but that comes from the person who has the curliest hair ever and just would die to have it ultra-straight!!! ;)

A 2 out of 5. And I agree, Dr Campbell's storyline was a waste of Mere and Derek time! Linking her inadequacies with Ellis's proficiency in the OR and it would have been more relative especially as Cristina is reading her diaries. ¬¬

ETA
And Izzie's medical condition. This totally convinces me that sr has rewritten this storyline. No way could Izzie have a cancer that is this far advanced that she is having hallucinations - which would indicate that it has spread to the brain. sr has changed the diagnosis midstream and I suppose Joe Public MAY not notice, she hopes.
The fact that Izzie has gone down to dermatology for a biopsy says that it is probably a melanoma. sr wants us to believe that she has not noticed it or her doctor boyfriend has not noticed it. Fair enough it is on her back but she could still see it in the shower. Izzie tells the doctor doing the biopsy that she has a raised LDH - meaning that the cancer has spread to the liver most probably. If she has brain and liver metastases - she is a dead. I think that sr was going to have her have a brain aneurysm if KH stayed and now that KH is out of there is now is going to die. But, I suppose in the land of crackpots with crayons anything is possible.

Tayli you're right. This story about Izzie and her aneurysm or her cancer is just no sense. I'm just wondering what kind of twist sr is going to find to make us believe that the hole thing with Denny isn't just a big mess.
But you came back. Will to Alicia Season 1

I thought it was a lot better than last week. I give it a 3.5\5
Taylijane, your theory sounds right about Izzie. That explains everything. But why did SR change the storyline,I mean didn't she know Katherine Hegil wanted off the show earlier this season? Izzie is so dead, wow, this episode really reminded me how I am going to miss George. I love him, the little he was in this episode he was great. He is going to be so upset when he finds out Izzie is sick, more than Alex I think. When Alex has holding up the husband when he was crying I was thinking that is some real foreshadowing right there.

The fight was crazy, I mean it wasn't just a hit back and forth, they were rolling on the ground. I knew Owen would be there to break it up. In the beginning It was them against Hunt and now I have this feeling Derek and Owen will get closer because Mark and Derek are done for awhile. I love how Meredith gives him tequila, its so Mere and season 1-2. I love how he pours her a glass too. She was really there for him in this episode. But like I have been saying and what you guys said, the proposal is off for awhile. She may propose, that would be a switch and really nice. Derek is soo getting sued. The calling of him a murder has got to kill Derek, first the serial killer says they are the same and now he is being called a murderer. Gosh when everyone said the character was going to go through a dark place they weren't kidding. It's only going to get worse.
Of course I loved Owen and Christina. I liked how it wasn't about Owen's issues this time. When he first came on I expected him to really teach Christina how to be a better person and to show her how to be not all about the medicine like Campbell was.

hbshopgirl, I had the same feeling with Alex and the husband - it went through my mind too that Alex may be doing the same thing in a couple of episodes. I wonder if it will be Izzie's death that causes George to leave. :hmm:
KH was being punished with the Denny storyline as soon as sr knew she was going for sure - she changed the storyline and rewrote the end of 5.13 with Denny telling her she was sick and Denny suddenly turned from an hallucination to the angel of death.
I did not think about the SK when the husband called Derek a murderer - good catch. Calling him that would have been twice as bad for him. I am not sure there is anything that Derek did wrong in surgery except get too attached and give the impression (and have the hopeful belief) that all was okay when it was not. Nicking the aneurysm was a complication of delicate surgery. More complications came with the resulting blood transfusion that reacted with the baby and gave her the bleeding problems and increased her blood pressure - then she because pre-eclamptic - another thing he could not be sued over. Jen had all the complications imaginable and nightmarish - everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. Derek just wanted to save her.
Addison wanting to go to the Chief was more about Derek's objectivity rather than his skills. Meredith's "he now cares more" when Addison was talking to her, made her change her mind about telling the Chief.
It was great to see Meredith be there for Derek and Derek to let her. I was worried that he may push her away. But, I guess that could come later.
I am not looking forward to any of the future episodes - I may have to go back to the bowels of the ship and hide and not look for awhile. :(

Hbshopgirl, as you when I heard the word "murderer" I thought about the SK. But in the mean time, I thought it was kind of hard to make kind of a link between him and Der. I can do with a dark and twisty Der, but I cannot do with a lack of talk between Mer and Der :x :x :x

Hi, xlilevax. Great to see you posting. :D

Do you think it is foreshadowing a proposal or was it already a proposal of sorts? :hmm:
