Peanut butter cookies are the best! Especially homemade ones fresh from the oven with a glass of cold milk!
Sugar cookies are my favorite though. The Subway sandwich places around here used to make great ones.

This is Labor Day weekend in the U.S. :) Monday is a holiday and then everyone here gets back to school! Yeah!! :D

So, anyone got tips about how to write/direct a short film?

Drey, you are interested in writing a short film? That sounds like a cool project, but I don't have any directing experiences but I wish I had some tips. Depends on what you are making a short film on.

I'm addicted to Oreo Cakesters. :) Mmm mmm.

Before doing anything figure out the following for writing a film : plot (and a subplot, if you like) , characters (names, relationships, backgrounds, good/bad) , theme( dark or light hearted, warm or cold atmosphere, etc) and also the minimum and maximum length you want it to run. Hope that helped.

To direct : Decide on : A location ( one location, various, indoors or outdoors, time of day) , Actors on screen (their screen presence, the amount of actors on screen at one time) Portraying the relationship between each character on the screen, background music (necessary at parts of the film? ), colour of the shoot (rich? mild? black or white?)

Ive never done any of the above by the way, but i hope some of it helps ! :) , i was just posting what my gut instinct would be to do. Good luck in it drey. If you do decide to make a film , it'd be cool if you posted it up on the site :)

Sure I'll do it. Thanks for the suggestions. I'm just writing the script right now. It'll be an Ocean's Eleven in a highschool. You know, a teacher's aid places the exam's questions on the locker for the jocks in the school to get them. But a team will assemble to get the exams first. It may seem stupid, but after my contrived, too idea driven, too "special effects" based... a light heartred, just-for fun-movie is something I want to do know :P
